A hint of the 70s lingers over this very special back-to-school season. Falsely nostalgic, often tender and intimate, it transforms our childhood memories into new trends. Like the return of wallpaper, which is confirmed in our decorating guide. A single decorated wall sets the tone for the room.

We have a choice of style. From the delicate Morris & Co patterns created by William Morris, British master of the Arts and Crafts movement, to the geometric print, a nod to Claude Sautet's smoky 70s bedrooms. The panoramic paper version is also very popular, less restrictive than the murals of the time when you want to redecorate! It's no coincidence, then, that Albin de la Simone evokes in our pages the one in his sister's bedroom as a little Proust madeleine, alongside other rich testimonies of our collective memory. All could find a place in the lovely book just published by Agnès Jaoui, La Taille de nos seins (Grasset). Delicately illustrated by Cécile Partouche, she recounts, from the perspective of a 7-year-old girl, her new school, her friends, boys, her growing body... It's funny, sensitive, sometimes dark, but always accurate. Just one regret: this album is too short... a bit like childhood, right?
